Dashboard generated Nov 5, 2026, 11:14 AM ET — the first refresh since Sep 26 (40 days). Scale data ends Nov 4 9 PM on all four hives (the 10 PM row had not reached the Hive data sheet at run time, so "today's" weights are the 9 PM readings); probe data ends Nov 5 8:15 AM on all four (96 of 96 readings each — East's logger has caught up). Newest published inspection sheets are still Sep 4 on all four hives (62 days); East's 9/11 sheet is still Draft. Nothing has reached Notion or the sheet folders since the Sep 26 run: no sheet, no change-log row (newest is still 9/12), no transcript after the Sep 21 Shed opening, no tab for Shed's second sensor (#1734). Everything new on this page therefore comes from the scales and probes. The scales show five rounds of work with no record: Sep 25 4–5 PM (North +17.8, East +26.9, Shed +33.2), Sep 27 12–1 PM (North +28.9), Oct 18 1–2 PM (North +39.1, East +40.0, Shed +14.6), Oct 25 2–3 PM (East +18.0, Shed +18.7), and Nov 2 12–1 PM, when North dropped 42.7 lb, East 29.2 and Shed 27.5 in the same hour. Generating those sheets and logging the five rounds are the two steps that would move most of this page. Earlier feeds, Shed's 9/10 swarm and East's 9/11 feeder removal come from the BEEKEEPER-CAUSED SENSOR CHANGES + SWARMS database (Chad, 9/12–9/14).

"Since last insp" runs from 10 PM the night before that hive's most recent published inspection sheet; Sep 4 is still the newest sheet on all four hives, so every baseline is the night of Sep 3 (Strong 211.89, North 161.82, East 67.53, Shed 99.47) and every delta covers the same 62 days — the baseline now lies left of the 4-week sparkline, so the dashed tick sits at its left edge. The 4-week window opens Oct 7 10 PM (Strong 204.92, North 203.75, East 83.03, Shed 127.80) and each sparkline is eight readings four days apart. 2  Box load: composition from the inspection sheets of the last two weeks (a feeding-only sheet inherits the prior full inspection). Each bar shows food / box — food is what the bees can eat (bar fill), box adds that box's tare from the register. ⚖ = a number you actually weighed (box on a scale, or syrup by container math); ≈ = estimated or derived — from frame observations, or as the residual that makes the column reconcile. The stack is a snapshot as of the valuation date under each column — Strong, North and Shed are valued Sep 4 from the mentor visit and reconciled against the Sep 3 scale; East was not opened then, so its Sep 2 valuation stands. No published sheet has opened any hive in the 62 days since, so every box figure is a Sep 4 reading kept only because nothing has replaced it; all scale movement since — three logged feeding rounds, a swarm, East's feeder off and back on, the Sep 19 hardware, and the five unlogged rounds of Sep 25–Nov 2 — sits in the Δ bars rather than in any box. The feeder lines for North, East and Shed read No data: the last feeder state on any record is Sep 19, and four unlogged steps per hive have happened since. The Sep 19 note, proofread, hand-weighed Strong's four boxes and North's two mediums (and names the boxes bottom-up: D1, D2, M1, M2 …); those ⚖ numbers replace the striped estimates once the sheets are generated — until then they are quoted in the warnings only. The dotted Δ SINCE bar is everything the hive scale has recorded since the valuation date — its size is known, its location among the boxes is not, until the next weigh-through re-zeroes it. Gray EQUIPMENT bar: bottom board 4.6 + wood cover 7.5 + feeder body 5.5 = 17.6 lb (landing board unweighed; no inner cover — the feeder replaces it, Chad 9/1); whether North, East and Shed still carry a feeder body after Nov 2 is not recorded. 3  Winter stores: scale-derived and net — gross − equipment tare (register drawn-frame tares; all four hives wear the 7.5 lb wood cover, Chad 9/1) − syrup still in the feeder − estimated bees − a normal brood ball (~10–13 lb of brood + beebread, per Chad's method 9/1). The 60 lb target is net stores in the boxes; feeder syrup ripens in at ×0.813. Full method: WINTER STORES METHOD page in the KNOWLEDGEBASE — hand-weighed boxes above the bottom box (target ≥75 lb measured food) replace these estimates once they are on a sheet. Every figure this run is the residual fallback, flagged estimate. Strong's is the only one on known hardware (81.1 lb tare, feeder body off 9/19, no scale step since): 190.35 − 81.1 − ~8 − ~13 ≈ 88 lb. For North, East and Shed the tare is the last hardware of record — North 81.1 lb (deep + three mediums + feeder body, 9/19), East 37.6 lb (one deep + feeder body), Shed 57.6 lb (two boxes + feeder body) — and feeder syrup is taken as nil, because the Nov 2 drops (−42.7, −29.2, −27.5 lb in one hour) are each about the size of a feeder body plus the syrup the running arithmetic says was left in it (North: 39.1 added 10/18 − 4.9 drawn + 5.5 body = 39.7; East: 40.0 − 10.5 + 18.0 − 7.5 + 5.5 = 45.5; Shed: 14.6 − 8.5 + 18.7 − 9.1 + 5.5 = 21.2). That fits North closely, East less well and Shed not at all (it lost 6 lb more than a feeder could account for), and none of it is on the record — so the three figures are marked unverified. If the feeder bodies did come off, add 5.5 lb to each; if a box came off, more; if syrup is still on the hive, less. The direction is not in doubt for East (~36–42 lb in a single deep) or Shed (~40–46 lb): both are short of 60 with the syrup season over — in Orient's November the bees can no longer take down and ripen 2:1 reliably — so the remaining lever is solid feed (fondant or dry sugar) placed above the cluster, after a heft or hand-weigh confirms the scale. The bee and brood-ball allowances are September values and are generous for November, which makes every figure here slightly conservative. Syrup stored since 9/7 is counted at ×0.813 only as it was drawn down; whether it was capped before the cold is unknown without an inspection.

4  Climate: 24-hour mean of the 15-minute probe readings (the window here is Nov 4 8:15 AM → Nov 5 8:15 AM) — averaging one full day-night cycle removes the diurnal swing; arrows compare against the prior 24 h. Bands: brood nest 91–97°F, 50–65% RH. All four probes returned a full 96 readings. Probes sit in each hive's bottom box as far as the change log goes (the proofread Sep 19 note describes sensor frames moved in Strong and North, never logged); only a true-nest probe (7-day mean ≥ 93°F, swing ≤ 3°F) reads the brood nest, and outside the nest a probe reports where the cluster is not. Shed is now a true-nest probe: 82°F on Sep 26, 91°F by Sep 30, 85–92°F through October, 93.3°F as a 7-day mean with a 2.1°F daily swing (91.7–93.8°F) and RH 61.6% — both in band, the only hive that is. A colony holding 93°F for five weeks into November is rearing brood, which is the best evidence yet that the 9/21 eggs became a laying queen; it is also why Shed burns stores fastest. Its second sensor (#1734, set 9/21) still has no tab in the Hive data sheet. Strong, North and East read 71°F, 66°F and 73°F at 74–77% RH — 18–25° under the brood band and 9–12 points over the humidity band, drifting down with the season from the low 80s (Strong), 70s (North) and high 70s (East) in late September, and following ambient (48–68°F at the scales over the window). On these three the reading says the cluster has contracted away from the probe — expected in November, when brood rearing winds down and the cluster moves up onto stores — not that anything is wrong; the amber is the band arithmetic, not an alarm. The high RH is the cool-box figure and worth one look at ventilation and tilt when the hives are next visited.

5  Varroa: Chad always washes a half cup (~300 bees), so every count converts at that sample size (Chad, 9/8). North Aug 26: 3 / ½ cup = 1 per 100; Shed Aug 26: 2 / ½ cup = 0.7 per 100 (both on their published sheets). Strong's published sheets carry only the Jun 6 wash at 1%; the 3-mite Aug 26 figure Chad gave verbally on Aug 30 never reached a sheet, so the sheet figure stands. East has never been washed. No wash has been recorded on any hive since Aug 26 — not on Sep 4, not in the Sep 19 note ("Mite wash today: not done" at Strong and North), and nothing since. Treatment on the record: Formic Pro at Strong and North from Sep 4, two strips each, 14-day course ended Sep 18; the proofread 9/19 note says "Removed Formic Pro" at both, though no sheet or change-log row records it. Shed's treatment was withheld for the queen situation and nothing has been recorded since. East's Norroa (two pouches, 9/11 sheet still Draft; "finished (removed today)" in the 9/19 note) is not counted as a recorded treatment. So the yard goes into winter with no post-treatment count on any hive: two treated and never re-counted, one untreated since August, one never counted at all. A ½-cup wash is still possible on a mild afternoon (the Aug–Sep threshold was 3 per 100 = 9 mites; any count now is on the long-lived winter bees, so read it strictly), and the usual late-season tool, if a count or the lack of one warrants it, is an oxalic acid treatment once the colonies are broodless — which Shed, at 93°F, is not yet.

6  East's scale readings are accepted as accurate gross weights (Chad, 9/3). The scale was re-zeroed to 0.00 on Aug 9, so no delta spanning that date is shown; the 4-week window cleared that date on Oct 7 and the slot is live again. The post-zero series ran +11.8 Aug 11, +32.0 Aug 17, +15.7 feed Aug 20, +17.8 feed + 2 donated frames Aug 29 → 67.5 lb Sep 3 → 64.9 lb at 4 PM Sep 11; then, in the hour Chad logged as "East feeder removed", the reading fell 76 lb to −11.4 and sat there through 11 AM Sep 19, when the hive was seated back on the platform with a feeder and ~9 L of 2:1 (76.6 lb; the proofread note gives 76.7). Whether the scale was re-zeroed at that re-seat is not recorded — the deep read ~8 lb lighter than on 9/11, or the zero moved; both readings stand. Since then, taken at face value per the ruling: 76.6 → 70.26 by 4 PM Sep 25; +26.85 at 4–5 PM Sep 25 (→ 97.11); down 22.4 lb to 74.76 by 1 PM Oct 18; +39.99 at 1–2 PM Oct 18 (→ 114.75); down 10.45 to 104.30; +18.01 at 2–3 PM Oct 25 (→ 122.31); down 7.54 to 114.77; −29.21 at 12–1 PM Nov 2 (→ 85.56); 84.77 at 9 PM Nov 4. None of the four steps is logged. The +17.2 lb "since last insp" is Sep 3 10 PM → Nov 4 9 PM and spans the off-scale gap, the possible zero shift and all four steps; the +1.7 lb 4-week figure spans three of them.
